Degas to Dali
The Degas to Dali Fashion Project is inspired by Max Ernst's 1928 painting, 'The Forest'. Automatism was the source of inspiration for Surrealists as it produced a creative process without the restraints of consciousness.
The outfit was one of the few pieces chosen as part of the 'Degas to Dali' exhibition at the Auckland Art Gallery
